According to the episode summary, Red will enlist Tom along with the Task Force to help find a notorious bounty hunter who may have an idea on Kirk’s next move. “You were my entire life, you were all your mother and I cared about”.

Since Esteban is an informant for the Central Intelligence Agency, the Post Office could help Red find his whereabouts. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said that Kirk will show her things that Red has not discussed or skillfully avoided. Raymond told Tom that he did not run for him but organizes a meeting with Esteban.
Cooper and Tom eventually end up finding and protecting Karakurt, despite Solomon’s best attempt to kill the henchman. “Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) struggles to decide if Kirk is trustworthy”. One day, the couple came home to find that Red had apparently taken Liz/Masha.
In an attempt to earn Liz’s trust, Kirk once again insists he’s her dad, this time with some more details. If he really was her father and cared about her, why did he attack her wedding, shot at her friends and colleagues and abducted her and her family? Kirk then replies, “Everything I did was to get my child away from Reddington…” The biggest agenda for Red remains finding Karakurt, the man who actually committed all the crimes that Liz has been accused of. After entering the building, Red finds himself on the opposite side from Liz and Kirk via a two-way mirror.
Raise your hand if you think Kirk’s actual motive for wanting Liz and/or Agnes are to treat his disease – and raise your other hand if you think it’s via these medical procedures that we’ll find out Liz isn’t related to Kirk.
Wrong. Because moments later, as Mr. Kaplan and Red drive away from Kirk’s house with Agnes safely in tow, another auto careens through the trees and T-bones their vehicle.
Back to the Post Office crew, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) has volunteered to take on the job of going to Cuba and approaching Esteban when Samar refuses to do it because of Liz’s lie. But instead of getting eyes on Esteban, Ressler is kidnapped by his goons instead. One of Kirk’s men grabs Agnes and leaves Red, Dembe and Kaplan for dead in the vehicle. The two men were knocked unconscious but thankfully, baby Agnes seemed fine. Kirk claims many years ago, he was happily married to Katarina Rostova, but it all went sour when she had an affair, and it was Red that she had the affair with!

While the Cuban police arrive, Liz asks Red to leave and find his daughter, he says that he will come back to get her. Does it have to do with the fact that Kirk is dying?
