Fresh on the heels of the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt divorce news, Pitt is now under investigation for child abuse after an alleged incident on the couple’s private plane.

TMZ go on to state that the plane landed at an airport around 8pm, with eye-witnesses claiming Pitt “ranted on the tarmac” and “even tried leaving in one of the fuel trucks”. People adds that an anonymous report was filed to authorities that same evening. Both Pitt and Jolie have already been interviewed, with the DCFS planning to interview the children.

“LAPD is not handling any report of allegations of child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt”, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jenny Houser told CNN.

The source did not say which agency was conducting the investigation. Pitt and Jolie have six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

“He takes this very seriously and is fully cooperating”, a source close to Pitt, who was not authorized to speak publicly, told USA TODAY.

Almost a week before Jolie filed the divorce papers, Pitt was accused of being “verbally abusive” and “physical” with one of their kids on a private plane.

It was this incident that triggered Jolie to separate from Pitt the very next day and file for divorce on Monday.

Further developments in Brad and Angelina’s divorce have come to light.
