Dearborn Heights Police Captain Michael Petri says a suspect has been arrested and it appears the killings are “from a domestic violence-type situation”.

Both men were charged by the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office with second-degree home invasion as habitual fourth offenders.

A MI man suspected of killing his four children and critically injuring their mother was arrested early on Wednesday after calling police to confess, local media reported. Seventeen-year-old Kara Allen and 19-year-old Chadney Allen were found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

The 4- and 7-year-old victims were asphyxiated in a auto by carbon monoxide before being taken inside and left in their beds, according to the Free Press. They were transported to Oakwood Hospital and pronounced dead.
“Our hearts go out to the family and friends”, Gavin said.
The kids’ mother, Faith Green, was found bound and bleeding.
His probable cause hearing is scheduled for October 5 and he is being held without bond.
“All of these incidents result in a decreased feeling of safety and security for our residents and visitors alike”, Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said in the release.
“The alleged evidence in this case will show an appalling level of domestic violence that was cataclysmic”, prosecutor Kym Worthy said in a written statement.
He declined to say if Green has been talking to investigators.

Police are continuing to investigate a possible motive, but Krause said police think the killings stem from a marital issue. “The guy seemed really good, too”, Strickland said.
