The preliminary reports from State police suggested that Thaddeus Farrow was found in his vehicle with a life-threatening injury and he was later pronounced dead at a hospital. “He was a wonderful, courageous person who overcame so much hardship in his short life”.

Farrow had adopted Thaddeus from an orphanage in Calcutta, India, in 1994.

Thaddeus died from a life-threatening injury after he shot himself in the torso, according to CT authorities.

Mia, 71, has thanked her fans for their support in a statement which also highlighted the work of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

His cause of death was confirmed during an autopsy, while police have said there is no evidence of any criminal element. The actress, a child polio survivor herself, adopted him in the mid-1990s.

After she adopted Thaddeus, Mia spearheaded a campaign to rid the world of polio, revealing that she too had suffered from the infection as a child but was able to fight it due to living in a country with advanced healthcare.

Thaddeus lived in Torrington, about 24 miles from Roxbury, Connecticut, where he was found. In addition, she has four biological children.

In 2013 Thaddeus tolked to Vanity Fair and revealed that he was working as a auto mechanic and studying to be a police officer.
