Donald Trump today is to release an expanded list of possible Supreme Court nominees and has included two Floridians.

The campaign has not said how it settled on the names, though Trump has said he consulted with conservative groups to vet potential candidates.
The death of conservative Justice Antonin Scalia on February 13 left the court with a four-to-four tie between right-leaning and left-leaning justices.
Trump’s latest additions appear to be continuing reassurance to conservatives. Include on that list was Thomas Lee, a Justice on the Utah Supreme Court whose brother is the Republican senator. Cruz has refused to endorse the NY real estate developer. Ted Cruz, has not endorsed Trump yet.
NBC’s Chuck Todd said the expanded list that includes Blackwell and nine other names would be released later Friday. “Lee’s mind about Trump in any way whatsoever”, Lee spokesman Conn Caroll said in a statement.
A key argument being made to the Never Trump faction of the Republican Party has been that Trump will appoint conservative justices to the court while his opponent, Hillary Clinton, would nearly certainly appoint liberals.
Moreno, who serves on the district court for the southern district of Florida, is Hispanic and was born in Venezuela.

Trump also added a military veteran to his list by naming Ryan, a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, as another potential pick.
