Mourinho hits back at his critics
United can redeem their recent league defeat to City after being drawn to face them at Old Trafford in the fourth round of the League Cup. I am upset with nothing. I love red wine and if he offers I will go and drink it with him (after Saturday’s game). That is something that is completely out of my control.

The two were quite cordial when they met in the Premier League last season, when Mourinho was the Chelsea manager, and as far as Ranieri is concerned the rivalry and ill-feeling between the two is well in the past. It’s like when you want to protect people and you can’t.
Mourinho, speaking before the draw had been made, added: “It was hard, as I was expecting, but we were totally in control for the 35 minutes and then for the last 45 minutes”.
“Maybe he has to offer me a good glass of red wine”.
I am a good man. Rooney has hit back at his knockers, however, telling MUTV: “I don’t really listen to what a lot of people out there are saying, because a lot of it is rubbish”.
The ESPN FC team share their thoughts on how Jose Mourinho should proceed with Wayne Rooney’s playing time this weekend. We are a team, we are not Wayne Rooney. “We all won four matches”.
“He’s an incredible player”, he said. “The football is different, they play one shape, we play another shape”.
“We have three home matches now in a row and it is always good to be at home”, he said.
“Now we are going to think about keep winning games. Three matches where we were not consistent”. Zero goals, zero assists and a passenger in midfield mean Saturday’s game against Leicester will be the flawless chance for Pogba to prove his critics wrong.
“It is obviously very hard to retain the title, not for Leicester, for everyone, history says that”.
Jose Mourinho’s arrival along with some big-name signings increased the excitement around Old Trafford, with expectation growing after Community Shield success was followed by three straight Premier League victories.
“One of the teams was, of course, Man United, another one was some team managed (by) the worst manager in the history of football, but it’s really hard”.

Keith from Wilmslow is firmly in that camp: “His touch is terrible, he looked a bit chubby to me, he’s not covering the ground quick enough to chase the ball”.
