Google Allo Messaging App Launches on iOS, Android
The app introduces Google Assistant where users just type @google to ask the USA search engine questions and have it help you directly in chats, it said.

The app has a “Smart Reply” feature that suggests responses to chats and can be send with just a tap.
Like most messaging apps, it lets you write text and send photos, emojis and stickers. When you start an Incognito chat, you’re enabling end-to-end encryption for your messages, and you can also set chats to expire, and even set private notifications. Users who are interested can download the app via the iTunes App Store or Google Play. However, it’s the Google Assistant that makes the chat app different from other apps like Whatsapp, Wechat, or Telegram. The Smart Reply learns from your texting patterns and shows quick, small replies to send back to your friend when busy. Google Assistant can be brought into chats by tagging the service in a message line and issuing a command.
Allo was unveiled by Google in May at the same time as Google Duo, an app for video calls, which hit the market last month. That tool, referred to as Google Assistant, leverages all Google’s power in storing and finding out information.
The Google Allo comes with the “Smart Reply” feature, a feature which will basically make it a lot easier for you to respond quickly to incoming messages. Moreover, it allows users to link their Google account to the app. All chats in Google Allo are encrypted using industry standard technologies like Transport Layer Security (TLS), it said. “So we created a messaging app that helps you keep your conversation going”.

Allo looks like a nice app, and Google has given it features like Assistant and Smart Reply to try and stand out from the (rather large) crowd of messaging apps already on the market. Google launched its new group centric app for communicating known as Spaces this past summer. It will also help in finding nearby places and making plans with friends.
