Lina Lansberg On Cyborg Fight: “I Have Nothing To Lose”

The Brazilian born knockout artist typically fights at 145-pounds where she’s the reigning Invicta FC featherweight champion, but to fight in the UFC she’s now made the perilous weight cut down to 140 pounds once previously and she’ll do the same on Friday. It seemed like she was going to have to hit that mark even though for non-title fights, fighters are allowed a one pound allowance.

The Swede hasn’t been facing a meaningful level of opposition in the cage so far though, and certainly hasn’t faced anything like the ferocious competitor that she’ll go up against on Saturday night.

There were questions whether Cris Cyborg would make weight for UFC Fight Night 95 main event tilt against Lina Lansberg.

Prediction: Cyborg via TKO in the first round.

“Cyborg” hasn’t been defeated since her professional debut and she’s run through every fighter who has stepped in her destructive path over the past decade. “And I have nothing to lose, so it feels ideal”.

Francisco Trinaldo to win by decision.

I’m told Cyborg weighs 160 pounds this AM. Eric Spicely (185) Godofredo Pepey (146) vs.
