The recent iOS 10.0.2 update is proof that Apple can easily thwart jailbreaks if they wanted to. “For now, we just got a polished version of the previous design”, Daniel Matte, an analyst at market researcher Canalys, told FoxNews.com, adding that he didn’t think Apple was capable of doing a major redesign this year. With today’s update, that should no longer be a problem. It includes the prevention of “Hey Siri” request bugs as well as some Bluetooth connection glitches. Those who did not receive automatic prompts can try the manual approach by going to Settings then General then Software Update. Audio quality is also said to have been polished as well as some stability improvements with the Camera and Contacts apps.
Forbes noted that the time difference between the release of iOS 10 and iOS 10.0.1 may be the shortest yet by Apple. iOS 10.0.1 is made for the iPhone 5 or later models, iPad 2 or later, iPad Pro range, iPad mini 2 or later and iPod touch 6th generation or later. The size of iOS 10.0.1 will differ depending on the device, ranging from 25MB to 60MB. With the latest mobile operating system, Pangu and TaiG among others now have to find a way to come up with an iOS 10.0.2 jailbreak.

However, as iOS 10 is out, people expected the OS to be jailbreak proof. I thought Beats might be holding back on an announcement, but an update to that headphone isn’t slated for release anytime soon – and certainly not in 2016 – according to a person familiar with the company’s plans.
