Victor Cruz likely to sit out Jaguars game
It looks as though New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz won’t play in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Jaguars. He appeared in 46 of a potential 48 regular-season games while emerging as quarterback Eli Manning’s favorite target over that stretch.

The Giants’ star receiver was enjoying an impressive comeback from last year’s torn patellar knee tendon.
In 2011 Victor Cruz burst onto the national scene as New York’s latest athlete superstar.

Special teams coordinator Tom Quinn said the goal for his group this year is to improve on punt returns and coverage….
