According to the site-who broke the initial news of Jolie’s divorce filing-Pitt crossed a line by “lunging” at Maddox, who was verbally defending his mom during an argument.

Reports allege Pitt was involved in an angry outburst with at least one of his children.
Jolie filed for divorce Monday and cited irreconcilable differences.
The reports come just days after Pitt’s wife, the actress and United Nations envoy Angelina Jolie, 41, filed for divorce. She is reportedly requesting that a judge grant Pitt visitation rights as opposed to joint custody.
The FBI is “continuing to gather facts” about the reported child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt.
The same TMZ report also says that both Jolie and Pitt have already been interviewed by the DCFS. “An incident took place and prompted Angelina to act and file”, a source said earlier.
On the other hand, Brad has denied any abuse, however, sources close to him have acknowledged there was a flight on the private jet.
Jolie and Pitt, known collectively as “Brangelina”, were one of the entertainment world’s most visible couples, due to their good looks, successful films and activism.
And Pitt is “emphatic” the incident was nowhere near physical abuse.
A spokesman for the department said: “The law does not allow us to confirm or deny the subjects of our investigations”. Jolie is asking for physical custody of their six children – Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.

It has been alleged that Pitt had been drinking and a disagreement between the actor and his teen son “escalated”. “The worst of these claims are false and he will continue to do anything and everything that he can in the best interest of his children”, the source added. Authorities were allegedly told that Pitt was drunk at the time of the incident, but Jolie claims he was sober at the time, and got drunk after the incident.
