The Catalan club hosted Atletico on Wednesday night, and while the game was full of entertainment, it ended 1-1.

But tempers now appear to have reached boiling point, as the Atletico Madrid player recorded his stud injury treatment.

Luis still wasn’t happy about the incident following the game, and posted his wound on Instagram, writing: “a good job he never touched me”.

Suarez was then questioned about the social media post by reporters and the Uruguayan did not keep himself quiet.

Suarez was booked for a foul on the former Chelsea man but did not take kindly to Luis sharing his battle scars with his two million followers. “This is football. I repeat, it’s for men”.

“What happens on the pitch should stay there”.

Suarez was asked about Luis’ decision to display the picture on social media, and the striker insisted that whatever happens on the field should stay on the field.

“Football is for men”.

According to the latest reports, Suarez had even called Luis a “diving clown” on the pitch. The Uruguayan has always been a controversial personality.

Suarez, who has netted seven goals in as many matches in all competitions for Barca this season, was also been banned for eight games in 2011 for racially abusing Manchester United’s Patrice Evra.
