Hillary Clinton more than held her own during an appearance on actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis’ spoof talk show Between Two Ferns, perfecting a deadpan comeback to his offensive questions.
Galifianakis’ interview with Clinton on Between Two Ferns lasts just over five minutes, but as usual, the amusing or Die series packs a lot of awkward comedy into that time. He dove riiiiiight into some sexist bullshit – “As secretary, how many words per minute could you type? You need to get out more”, Mrs. Clinton said in a not-at-all amusing response.

“I assume he will wear that red power tie”, Clinton says. She also said that the focus of her Presidency has to be the economy and that we need more good jobs with rising incomes.
The Hangover star asks the Democratic nominee for this year’s election a number of awkward questions, including a grilling on her flip-flop over the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) deal.

Galifianakis joked that Clinton could not only become “the first girl president”, but also the “first white president” for younger generations.
It’s no secret that Kid Rock isn’t a fan of Hillary Clinton, but even he knows a sense of humor doesn’t always have to be about choosing sides. I don’t think he would do it …

At one point, Clinton scolded Galifianakis with one of those death stares: “Don’t tell me what to say”. We should stay in touch. When we do these we prefer to do them with a lot of improvisation, where the interviewee doesn’t know what the questions are beforehand, so the campaign was pretty cool about that. Clinton replies that she will try to prevent Trump “from destroying the United States”, which leads Galifianakis to ask whether she will lose the civil war. The day of the taping, September 9, was the day she was diagnosed with pneumonia – a point she did not reveal publicly until two days later, when she was videotaped looking wobbly after having left a 9/11 commemorative event in NY. – Galifianakis winds things up, and then aims a small zinger at Clinton, asking, “What’s the best way to reach you?”
