Four people killed in shooting at Burlington, Washington mall

Four people have been shot dead in a USA shopping centre, Washington State Police have confirmed, while the killer remains on the run in the north-western U.S. city of Seattle.

She said he saw people screaming and police blocking the door with assault rifles.

Though there is no information on other injuries besides the 4 deaths, it sounds like there are some people hurt.

The Washington State Patrol said on Twitter that the attack happened at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, about 65 miles from Seattle. The shooter is still at large, having fled the scene before police arrived, Sgt Mark Francis of the WSPD reported.

Heading to Seattle on the freeway, Ben Hagood was driving through the area around 7:40 p.m. and said he saw dozens of police vehicles, including just 15 and 20 near a storefront at the mall alone.

Segeant Francis added that it wasn’t immediately known if there was more than one gunman involved. Initial reports state there were injured people in a store at the mall. The suspect was seen walking away from the mall toward nearby I-5.
