Arsenal vs Chelsea: Arsene Wenger won’t credit Jose Mourinho for Blues success
“I’m more constructive and I can not comment on that because I’m focused on tomorrow’s game and how we want to play football”.

> /blockquote *’I told Jose they’d actually done a “Chelsea” and copied his game plan from a year ago and his emailed response left me gobsmacked.
“I talk about football – that’s all I do”, said Wenger, 66, on Friday.
“This is a special game for Cesc, but the most important thing is that he’s Chelsea’s player and he’s playing very well”.
Manchester United’s manager has had a long-running rivalry with the Frenchman which dates back to when he managed Chelsea and he once called the Arsenal boss a “specialist in failure”.
Wenger has held onto his position despite a relative lack of success in the last decade, with Arsenal having failed to win the title since 2004 and having only ended a nine-year trophy drought with an FA Cup triumph in 2014.
Alex Iwobi looks set to continue in the starting line-up after getting his third assist of the season against Hull last Saturday and it’s likely to mean a return for Theo Walcott on the right hand side following his absence from the EFL Cup game at Nottingham Forest. “When you see Arsenal you see good football”.
He added: “Just try to eliminate his qualities and his game”.
When asked whether he’d like to stay in west London for two decades, the Italian replied: ‘Yes, I like this. But if I’m a director and I don’t see that basis of work, you can win a game but not be sure it will go on.
“I give the slight advantage to Arsenal because they’re at home but it is one of those situations whereby, come 7pm on Saturday night, we will know what kind of season they will have”. “But to stay up there every year is not easy”. I will text him before the game comes around…

Yet Conte is adamant Arsenal would regret allowing Wenger to be hounded out of the Emirates Stadium because his value to the club can’t be measured only in results on the field. “When you can organise and do your work, and there is great satisfaction on both sides, there is the possibility to have a good work”.
