Is Destiny 2 still a thing?
First Boss of Rise of Iron: the Destiny servers. From exploring new story content to finding every Iron Medallion, there seems to be enough content to keep even the most hardcore players occupied for the foreseeable future.
I’ll never really understand the love for Destiny, but that’s okay – I don’t have to love or understand everything.
I also played a handful of rounds in what has been dubbed the fusion of Court of Oryx and Challenge of the Elders. Another root of the theory was based on the failure of The Reef as a second social space for players who ended up rarely visiting the area except in cases of picking up Trials of Osiris passages or completing Challenge of Elders bounties.
In order to access the new content, players must be level 40. The only reason I didn’t finish the primary story arc (which is only five missions) before breakfast is because I got distracted by a Taken King quest I didn’t finish past year. Two hours later, services were restored, but not fully functional.
One of the best aspects of any expansion is the ability to jump back into your favorite games and feel like the entire title has been completely rejuvenated.
Your most important character stat in “Destiny” is Light.
If you are already clued up on most of the above, you might not need much help. Players may experience error code QUAIL if too many players attempt to join a Fireteam at the same time. Destiny: Rise of Iron and Destiny – The Collection can be purchased recently, worldwide, in each territory where available at global retailers, and through console digital stores for the PlayStation®4 system and Xbox One (PlayStation®Plus, Xbox Live Gold, required for some features).
Developer Bungie’s support team tweeted: “We are actively investigating issues preventing players from connecting to Destiny on all platforms”. But Destiny still runs well, sounds great and looks as good as it ever did. According to the Owl Sector mega-thread on the Destiny sub-reddit, players can become infected by picking up orbs from infected teammates in either public or private PvP matches.
Believe it or not, but Bungie released the original version of Destiny almost two years ago. What do you think about the expansion so far?
For anyone unsure how to claim their Iron Gjallarhorn or Iron Gjallarwing, Bungie posted the following to the official site.
“Rise of Iron” is the first huge update for “Destiny” in a while, adding tons of new items like 22 Exotic Weapon Ornaments, and new rewards like the Hex Caster ARC, Hopscotch Pilgrim, Cryptic Dragon and more.
As you’d expect, the new raid will go live at 10 AM PST/1 PM EST this Friday.
