The world knows Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger as the pilot who managed to land an airliner full of people in the Hudson River without the loss of a single life after the plane lost thrust in both engines. He also wanted to include the investigation that was opened after the incident and that almost ruined the captain’s reputation and career.

Award-winning actor Tom Hanks said Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger is a hero, the character he played on the new movie directed by Clint Eastwood. Filming started in September 2015 in NY and lasted seven months travelling through several other USA cities, like Atlanta and Los Angeles.
