The BJP Delhi unit on Tuesday said it will urge Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung to dismiss Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal after she was booked on various charges.

In her complaint, Shukla alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders were appointing their associates to the DCW and gave them financial benefits.

Singh, in her complaint, listed the names of 85 people who, she claimed, got jobs “without requisite credentials”. Whenever there is a rape case, DCW asks questions. “It was a “kitty party” culture and we are fighting to change that”, Ms. Maliwal said. “This shows the failure of the whole system and the society”, said Maliwal.

Continuing his tirade against PM Modi, Kejriwal said that the AAP government would soon call a Special Session of Delhi Assembly where he would expose the “conspiracy” behind the registration of the FIR. I am sure DCW also has not done anything wrong, but I am clueless about what my role can be in the matter. While she (Singh) appointed wives of IAS and IPS officers without giving an advertisement for recruitment.

“If somebody can prove corruption of a single rupee in my life, I will stop living”.

“All appointments have been done legally and through the procedure of DCW”. One does not put the name of the Chief Minister in the FIR just like that. “Have issued some letters to him too”, ACB chief MK Meena said. “The Delhi government and the Centre are working together towards ensuring safety of women”, she said.
