Cowboys, Dez Bryant not lamenting limited opportunities

As NJ.com reports, Manning recorded three touchdown passes including what ended up being the game winning touchdown pass to newly returned Victor Cruz.

Despite having a poor record in 2015, the New York Giants could have easily won 10 games in 2015 if they were able to close out games. When his first and second options weren’t there, Prescott wasn’t afraid to check down to Jason Witten or a running back in the flat.

“I was excited to see him just make the plays that were there and I think there will be more to come”.

“We also got an opportunity to get some consistency in the game”, he said. “We just wanted to make sure that we didn’t do that again this year”. On the plus side, he didn’t throw an interception, but he still rated his performance as “average”.

The Giants had a first-and-goal from the 3 on the go-ahead drive.

One the Giants struggled to trod too many times a season ago. It was the Giants’ first opening day win since 2010 and their first win ever over Dallas in an opener. And he had a front row seat for his first live salsa, taking a knee to soak in Cruz’s celebration.

When it comes to these types of situations, you would think that football players who get paid to play this game for a living, and practice these in-game situations countless times so they would not make these types of error agains.

Fourth-round rookie Quarterback Dak Prescott had a pretty decent game yesterday as he went 25/45 for 227 yards with no picks. And now he’s finally back out here.

“I’m a big Giants fan from New Jersey”, said Thomas Blumette. “It feels great for me, so I can only imagine what it feels like for him”. Dallas was one-for-three in red-zone attempts and had to settle for field goals, as they totaled just 13 points. “He’s comfortable catching the ball and making guys miss”. “I’d rather it be in my hands than their hands with that time on the clock”.

When Bryant did make an appearance, it was exclusively on vertical routes down the field, which did result in Dez having a touchdown reception overturned, and later having one broken up on a throw that forced him up the field. The running game accomplished nothing and Eli Manning did a lot of ducking in the few plays he was on the field. Manning’s throw was beyond the reach of diving linebacker Justin Durant.

“We look through the windshield, we’re not looking through the rear-view mirror”, McAdoo said. “He’s a young head coach, young in his tenure, but he has all the makings to be a good head coach”.

And it’s a lot more than that. The 15th anniversary of September 11 resonates with Cruz, the son of a 30-year New Jersey fireman who was among the first responders at Ground Zero. His dad died in 2007.
