ESPN’s “Wednesday Night Baseball” will feature the Dodgers-Giants game, but the big draw will be a tribute to Vin Scully, retiring soon.

The Giants buckled down for a pivotal, 2-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers, just one night after a ninth-inning meltdown in a 2-1 loss seemed to send the San Francisco into a freefall.
Vin Scully’s final game at Dodgers Stadium will be broadcast on MLB Network. His final game will be the Dodgers’ regular-season finale on October 2 in San Francisco.
“First of all, I attribute it to one thing and one thing only, God’s grace to allow me to do what I’ve been doing for 67 years”, he said.
In San Francisco, the Giants will honor Scully at his final game. “I know that dramatically”.

Scully said of working a seasonal job at the post office, “We would spend all the time slotting and arguing about who was better, Duke Snider or Willie Mays”. “That’s on me. I take 100 percent responsibility”.
