China assures support to Pak on Kashmir issue
FO said that the cold-blooded murder of Burhan Wani sparked widespread and unprecedented protests across Kashmir, which was spontaneous and indigenous and was irrefutable evidence of the Kashmiri people’s rejection of Indian occupation. A number of experts say that the 1948 resolution is not applicable in the present circumstances, which in turn means that the worldwide community has accepted the conflict as India’s internal issue – just like the armed insurgency in the Indian state of Assam or a Baloch rebel movement in Pakistan’s western Balochistan province.

A transcription of Sharif’s speech, published on Huffington Post India, reads: “This indigenous uprising of the Kashmiris has been met, as usual, with brutal repression by India’s occupation force of over half a million soldiers”. It concludes by saying that reducing cross-border conflict will depend a lot on if Pakistan can be “persuaded to stop expanding its nuclear arsenal and sponsoring terrorist groups that threaten the region”.
His remark was interpreted in party circles as an indirect reference to the BJP’s aggressive posturing against Pakistan, accusing then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of being “weak” in responding to terror attacks during the UPA regime.
The first Indian investigations suggest that the attackers belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammad, a radical organization based in the neighboring country, which has claimed responsibility in the past for numerous armed attacks in Indian territory.
“Pakistan is hell bent on provoking the peace-loving citizens of India”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to break his silence on the government’s response to the terror attack on an army base in Jammu and Kashmir when he speaks at a public rally in the Kerala town on Saturday.
Referring to the support Beijing has been extending to Islamabad at all worldwide forums, the diplomat reportedly said his country would continue supporting Pakistan through thick and thin.
“We’re and will be siding with Pakistan on Kashmir issue…”
“India placed blame on Pakistan only 12-hour after Uri attack without any inquiry”. “As long as terrorism doesn’t end, we don’t have to have any relationship [with Pakistan]”, he added. Pakistani leaders have criticised India over the unrest and accused the neighbour of using excessive force.

Talking to APP here, the MPAs, including Muhammad Yasin Sohal, Majid Zahoor, Bao Akhtar Ali, Ghazali Saleem Butt, Mian Muhammad Naseer, Azma Bukhari and Hina Pervaiz Butt, lauded the prime minister’s bold stance emphasising on the United Nations resolutions on Kashmir issue. However, its leaders are trying to paint a different picture by hurling accusations of terrorism on Pakistan and its representatives making hue and cry at United Nations and other world fora.
