Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah has warned India against interference in Pakistan’s internal matters, insisting that in the event of a war New Delhi is likely to sustain more losses. “India has succeeded in sidelining and exposing Pakistan at the worldwide level”, Thakur said on the sidelines of the BJP conclave here. Pakistani defence sources claimed that they were ready for any air space violation or ground attack and Pakistan would immediately respond to any act of aggression. India is under increasing pressure to stop bloodshed in Occupied Kashmir and engage into meaningful dialogue with Pakistan to resolve the longstanding dispute.

The source also said that there were reports that India might go for a terrorist attack in Balochistan through its proxies while using Afghan soil. On the pretext of “Pakistan’s involvement” in the so-called attack, Indian government leaders, politicians, leadership of the armed forces and media are harping on the same string – blaming Pakistan and threatening it of dire consequences.

The premier said Pakistan was preparing for the upcoming SAARC Summit.

Spokesperson for the White House, Josh Earnest has called for India and Pakistan on Saturday to resolve the outstanding issues on diplomatic level and not through coercive forces.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Anurag Thakur ruled out any possibility of resumption of India-Pakistan cricketing ties after the recent Pakistan-backed terror attack on Uri, Jammu and Kashmir. “In fact, it remains active and vibrant in the hearts of the Kashmiris”, the statement said.

“It is the responsibility of the government to devise a strategy to deal with Indian interference in the country after thoroughly discussing the issue on the floor of the parliament”, he said.
