Trajan takes charge of Rome in Civilization 6
“Civilization 6” is slated for release on October 21, 2016. Learn the advantages in playing as Trajan, leader of Rome in the upcoming game. Rome is normally thought of as the cradle of European civilization, creating one of the largest empires in the world through superior armies, training, and logistics in addition to introducing democracy to the wider world. Trajan greatly expanded Rome’s territory, implemented a number of public works projects, and implemented social welfare policies.
Rome’s unique ability is called All Roads Lead to Rome.
As shown in the trailer, Rome’s strengths and abilities allow them to expand quickly early in the game and this is important as it gives them a chance to claim areas with abundant resources faster than other civilizations. Every city that gets settled within a trade route of your capital will start out with a trade route already constructed.
Rome is no doubt famous for its powerful military body back in its glory days. Also, being history as its witness, the Legion will also be able to build forts and roads to support the expansion of the Empire.
No major surprise that the Civilization VI special unit for Rome is the Legion. Incidentally though, “Civilization 6” might have overlooked the fact that the generic aqueducts were also actually invented by the Romans. Replacing the Aqueduct is the Baths tile improvement, providing more housing and amenities than its predecessor.

As mentioned earlier, Trajan was such a good leader that the Romans titled their structures after his name. This ability allows all cities to start with one free building in their city center, however, most of the time these will be monuments. In Civilization VI, Trajan’s special ability is Trajan’s Column.
