Georgia Vs Ole Miss
Georgia’s QB Jacob Eason (#10) goes into game 4 with 643 yards, 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Alabama’s Eddie Jackson scored a touchdown on an 85-yard punt return that helped the Tide come back from their early deficit on Saturday. He was actually Ole Miss’ leading rusher a year ago.

Ole Miss prediction roundtable with the Campus Insiders staff. Breaking down what will happen in Saturday’s matchup between the Bulldogs and Rebels. This year, without forcing as many, if they clean up a few mistakes they beat Alabama by two touchdowns. With the Florida State and Alabama games now in the rear view mirror the message is not unflattering for Ole Miss. The Rebels will look to do just that this weekend as they host the No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs.
The defense has given up over 40 points in every game so far, and their lone win came against New Mexico State.
Led by the impressive play of running back Trayveon Williams, the Aggies moved to 3-0 on the season with a win against Auburn last weekend. Georgia has been barely skating by against subpar teams and doesn’t have the pass rush to bother Kelly in the pocket. Do not forget that the Rebels also have the best tight end in the SEC in athletic speedster Evan Engram and, arguably, the best quarterback in the conference in Chad Kelly throwing guys the rock. Ole Miss then recovered the onside kick and Kelly hooked up with freshman wide receiver A.J. Brown on the next play from 37 yards out for the touchdown strike.
If there was a game this week that can go either way it’s Georgia vs.
Also of concern for Smart is a running game that suddenly has turned stagnant for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are the better team but a clunky game favors the underdog against the spread.
No. 12 Georgia v.
66,176 Spectators attended Saturday’s Alabama-Ole Miss game to set a record for Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for the second week in a row. Chad Kelly is either really good, or really bad, and there is no in between. He tried to go in the Florida State game, but Freeze said this week that he’s probably going to be out long-term. Liggins and Jones were suspended from the Rebels’ first three games for an unspecified violation of team standards.
Even with the extra referee on the field, the number of play stoppages to review plays make you wonder if the speed of the game is too fast for the referees to keep up. Ole Miss is ranked No. 115 in run defense, so this may be a good week for Chubb and UGA’s rushing attack. However, Georgia played better over the final two quarters, limiting Lock to 59 yards passing and intercepting him three times, including twice by safety Quincy Mauger, whose fourth-quarter interception in the end zone kept Georgia within striking distance. The week before against FCS Nicholls, Chubb rushed for 80 yards on 20 attempts. I’m not too confident in picking a victor for this matchup, but I am a lot more confident in saying this will be a close game, with the last two meetings being one-point Florida wins. Eason found Isaiah McKenzie up the seam in man-to-man coverage for the game-winning touchdown.
Now that we are entering Week 4 of the college football season, we will start seeing some good matchups as teams fight for conference titles and perhaps a berth in the College Football Playoff. He is 18th in the nation in receiving yards.

Georgia will be looking to secure their 11th straight win over Ole Miss, although those numbers may be a little stale since the two schools haven’t played since 2012. Fifteen replays were overturned with four coming out of Oxford, Miss. On the other hand, a win for the Rebels seems more crucial; a win brings them new life, while another loss could be detrimental to their season overall. Wisconsin got off to a good start with a win over LSU, but didn’t look good against Georgia State last week. The Bulldogs needed a comeback against North Carolina, won by two against an FCS program and barely escaped the claws of the Missouri Tigers, Ole Miss has looked great in the first half, but they can not finish off opponents, which is why I am taking Georgia in this SEC matchup.
