Donald Trump releases one-page summary of medical records

Donald Trump’s campaign still has not released the results of a physical examination that the Republican nominee underwent last week, but Trump assured the hosts of “Fox and Friends” on Thursday morning that his health is “really good”.

But according to the World Health Organization standards, Trump is overweight and almost obese with a body mass index (BMI) of 29.5.

He takes the cholesterol-lowering medication rosuvastatin and a low-dose aspirin, which keep his cholesterol level at 169.

It adds that he does not use tobacco or consume alcohol – abstention he has attributed in the past to the death of his older brother Freddy due to alcoholism. It was performed last week by Dr. Harold Bornstein, a doctor at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY and Trump’s long-time physician.

Trump surprised a studio audience Wednesday when he shared the letter, which discloses the results of a recent physical exam, on “The Dr. Oz Show” just hours after a senior aide told news outlets that the GOP nominee would not address his health. The doctor also stated that Trump is in “excellent physical health”. Trump’s campaign has said he will also release more medical information to the public. Similarly, an EKG and chest X-ray performed on April 14 were normal.

“If they were bad, I would say, ‘let’s sort of skip this, right?'” Trump said.

“His liver function and thyroid function testes are all within normal range”.

An audience member told Bloomberg that Oz called Trump a dream patient for someone who is 70 years old. Donald revealed that at 236 pounds, he’s a bit overweight and wants to lose 15 lbs. “His Doctor Oz charade is as completely unserious as his original joke of a letter written in five minutes”, Mook said. “It would be good”, Trump said in one of the clips that was released early.

Trump recorded an interview Wednesday with Dr. Mehmet Oz, which will be aired Thursday afternoon. Clinton is set to return to the campaign trail today after a three-day absence, and her physician wrote that she is “recovering well with antibiotics and rest”.
