Conte admires Wenger’s ‘fantastic’ Arsenal career
The London clubs renew their rivalry on Saturday with Arsenal looking for a first Premier League win over the Blues since October 2011 and Wenger said of the striker: “He looks since the start of the season to have cleaned up his act, that he behaves more focused on the game and that makes him more risky”.

“It was Wenger’s criticism of Mourinho’s decision to sell Juan Mata to Manchester United in 2014 that had prompted the “‘specialist in failure” comment.
Former Reds midfielder Danny Murphy claims Jose was desperate to take over at Anfield in 2004 but Kop bosses instead plumped for Rafa Benitez. “And that makes him more unsafe”, he told reporters.
“Mourinho wanted the Liverpool job massively”. I respect everybody in our game and I don’t feel I comment a lot on other teams. I think there are all the possibilities [if you stay longer at one club] to achieve good work.
“Honestly, for me it was always just a big game and an important game, and the personal rivalry that you suggest existed stronger before was never, in my head, a concern”, Wenger said.
“You want full commitment of every single player”, Wenger said.
Arsenal failed to score in their last 6 games against the Blues, Can Wenger find triumph over Chelsea at the Emirates?
Arsene Wenger regrets missing out on the signing of Diego Costa as he looks to quell the Chelsea’s striker’s rich vein of form against Arsenal on Saturday.
Allegedly, Jose Mourinho said he would break Arsene Wenger’s face in the past – something a journalist put to him at a press conference before Saturday’s game against Chelsea. They have won three straight Premier League games, and withstood a tough test in the Champions League by drawing against PSG on the road.
“For this reason I know that there are good results in this game against Arsenal, but we must know that, tomorrow, we face a good team in good shape, a big rival for us, and we must pay great attention”. Past year we finished second in the league and the first team was Leicester.
