Early voting begins in Minnesota

“The most used reasons are that someone is going to be away from town for one reason or another, such as business or vacation or they might be away in school”.

Beginning today and through November 7, Minnesotans may vote early using an absentee ballot. “Again we are urging all voters to know their options in voting in advance of Election Day by absentee ballot, reminding voters that all absentee ballots cast in Virginia must be counted on Election Day as directed by the state’s election laws”. Both locations will be available for absentee voters to cast their ballots between the hours of 8:30 a. m. and 5:00 p. m. Monday to Friday.

One in seven registered voters in OH won’t receive an absentee ballot request form in the mail for the upcoming election cycle.

“The Department of Elections offers many online tools to provide voters the information they need to have a positive experience on Election Day”.

After what may seem like an endless election cycle, the time for voters to decide who they want to represent them arrives today and continues until the polls close on the general election at 8 p.m. November 8.

You’ll have to request to have a ballot sent to you, though. Absentee ballots by mail must be returned by 7:00pm on Election Day. The deadline to register to vote in the general election is October 1. The deadline to apply for a mailed absentee ballot is midnight October 31, the news release said.

Eligible Virginians may register to vote online at vote.virginia.gov or by submitting a completed voter registration form to their local general registrar’s office. Attendance at candidate forums, research and personal encounters will also help voters make informed decisions in what is expected to be another memorable election year.
