Puig signed one of those shirts and had it sent to Bumgarner as a joke, according to ESPN’s Marly Rivera.

The Los Angeles bullpen was strong with lights out performances for Grant Dayton, Pedro Baez, and Joe Blanton who pitched three ideal innings of relief. Kike Hernandez was disappointing in his start Monday, but his versatility may land him a spot. The Tigers were also off, meaning that they dropped another half-game behind the wild card, leaving them at 2.5 back.
