It was that kind of day for the No. 1 Crimson Tide as they cruised to an easy 48-0 shutout win over Kent State. Shane Hynes missed a 37 yard field goal, Kavious Price muffed a kickoff which led to a six yard return, and Xavian Marks topped it all off when he took a punt 75 yards for a touchdown for the Crimson Tide.

Joshua Jacobs replaced Harris on the next play and received the majority of the early carries following the injury – including two first-quarter touchdown runs. He scored on gains of 24 and a yard.
