Is Brad Pitt being investigated… 10:24AM
According to TMZ, Pitt lunged at his 15-year-old son while on a private jet heading back to Los Angeles from France.

Because the alleged argument happened in mid-air, it was out of the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles Police Department, which passed on the complaint to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Why? Well, law enforcement sources claim the the LAPD’s Abused Child Unit got the anonymous report on Pitt’s behaviour, but felt they did not have jurisdiction because the alleged incident from last Wednesday occurred in the air.
People magazine says Pitt is under investigation by The Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services.
According to DailyMail.com, the gated compound features five bedrooms and five bathrooms across 4,409-square-feet, and Angelina – who has Maddox and five other children, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight with Brad – has security guards stationed at the entrance.
Jolie separated from Pitt the day following the alleged incident and filed for divorce a few days later.
In a statement, Angelina said the decision to file for divorce had been made for the “health of the family”.
“We have no criminal investigation that we are actively pursuing”, said Sgt. Barry Montgomery.
Another insider also supported this notion by reportedly told The Mirror: ‘[Brad] was not physical in any way that has been reported.
Of course, allegations of abuse are serious, and if an investigation finds that they are warranted, it will certainly be hard for Pitt to argue against Jolie’s claim that she deserves full custody.
“For the sake of the children, it’s important they focus on agreeing on the issues around parenting first before looking at how to split their vast financial assets”.
She mentioned Jolie and Pitt by name: “I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom (sic) I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment”. The actor, 52, has hired lawyer Lance Spiegel to represent him, a source close to Pitt who was not authorized to speak publicly told USA TODAY. Pitt divorced Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston in 2004 and entered into a relationship with Jolie in the same year.
Brad said in a statement following the divorce: “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids”.

She has appealed for sole custody of their six children and has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending their two year marriage.
