There’s a lot of video footage that’s going out (involving police violence), and it’s not just about Charlotte.

Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency Wednesday during the second straight night of violent protest in the wake of the fatal police shooting of a 43-year-old black man.
The National Football League (NFL) and the Carolina Panthers are considering moving a game out of Charlotte this weekend due to mass protests that have overtaken the city in recent nights.
The NFL reported being in contact with both the Panthers and Vikings organizations, along with local officials and police regarding the game.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney said Scott had a gun, not a book, and was shot by Officer Brentley Vinson, who is also black, when he failed to comply with orders to drop the weapon. “And I think we can do that for this community”.
The protesters stopped for about 15 minutes to chant and block an intersection near Bank of America’s headquarters.
It remains unknown if players on either sideline plan to make any statement during Sunday’s national anthem or pregame introductions.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color”, Kaepernick said.
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) – Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Thursday, leaving his availability in question for the immediate future.
Sometime during the postgame handshake, Cam Newton crossed paths with Colin Kaepernick, who gave the Panthers quarterback what looked to be an icy cold stare.
“People are going to treat us like football players – we have be quiet and just play football”, the Panthers safety said. “People are angry. I understand that”.
“So maybe instead of tearing up your own city, maybe instead of doing things the wrong way, we do things the right way”.
A North Carolina congressman says people are protesting in Charlotte because they “hate white people”. “In light of the tragic events of the past three days, it is more important than ever that we restore calm and come together, as a community, in peaceful demonstration and conversation, and in constructive and non-violent ways”. A wide-ranging conversation on how to change things for the betterment of everyone is of the utmost importance. “We’re in a way worse spot than we were in 2003, I can guarantee you that”.
