Asserting that terrorism is the enemy of humanity, Prime Minister Modi called upon the worldwide community to join hands to defeat terrorism. Taking a jibe at Pakistan, Prime Minister Modi said India is exporting engineers all over the world, whereas Islamabad is exporting terrorists.

He assured the countrymen that India was safe and 125 crore people take pride in valour and bravery of its soldiers and security personnel.

Probably anxious that he was sounding a tad too dove-ish to his listeners who were expecting a clenched fist and sharp tongue-lashing for Pakistan, he had this: “Sacrifice of our 18 jawans will not go in vain”.

In a statement issued on Friday, TDAP said the expo, aimed at showcasing Pakistani goods in India in September / October, was planned keeping in mind increasing regional trade.

India accuses Pakistan of arming and training insurgents and pushing them into the Indian portion of Kashmir to attack government forces and other targets.

He also reminded the people of Pakistan that once even they were part of India and said, “Want to remind them before 1947 they were part of this soil”. “We will make sure that you are left with no friends in world”.

Soon after PM speech at the BJP meet in Kozhikod, the opposition parties attacked Narendra Modi for shooting in the breeze without any concrete action plan and policy to tackle its neighbour country. “People of Pakistan are mislead by the rhetoric of 1000 years war. I want to tell them that India will never forget this.India never did and never will cow down before terrorism”, he said.

At a time when both critics and supporters expected Modi to sabble-rattle Pakistan on the pretext of Uri terror attack, the Prime Minister showed an optimistic attitude and aimed to strike an emotional chord with the people across the border.

“I want to speak to the people of Pakistan”. Today, there is such a government in Delhi that I am ready to accept your challenge.

“India has isolated you (Pakistan). They should first look at the land they have already captured – PoK, Gilgit and Balochistan”. “The consequences of war will be disastrous for both countries”.
