Addressing the UNGA, India hit back at Sharif accusing Pakistan of letting terrorists designated by the United Nations to roam the streets freely and operate with government support. Though Pakistan’s ramblings on Kashmir have remained constant through the years, this year Nawaz Sharif might have just crossed a line in global diplomacy.

To a question regarding Uri attack, tResponding to a question about Indian allegations after reported Uri attack, the spokesman said it has become a matter of habit to point accusing fingers towards Pakistan after every such incident in India.
Criticising Sharif for glorifying a self-confessed militant, India said it “will not succumb to blackmail tactics of the Pakistan Government that seems eager to use terrorism as policy”. “Perhaps renunciation of lies and self-restraint on threats could be a good place for Pakistan to start”, Gambhir said.
Meanwhile, a bill was introduced by two senior legislators in the US Congress seeking to declare Pakistan as a terrorist state. Wani was a self-declared commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen. “Peace between India and Pakistan can not be finally achieved without resolution to the Kashmir dispute”.
He further demanded an independent inquiry and a United Nations fact finding mission to investigate the situation in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, while talking to a delegation of Universal Justice Network, he said it was odd that Pakistan had always been raising the issues of human rights, including Palestine, Syria, Yemen and Iraq, but the world community and human rights bodies were silent on the tyranny of the Bangladesh government and the brutalities of the occupation forces in Kashmir and Afghanistan.
Addressing the assembly Sharif said, “A new generation of Kashmiris has risen spontaneously against India’s illegal occupation – demanding freedom from occupation”.
The main opposition party said the government should build a strong and factual case for India in front of the worldwide community and wanted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consult all political parties before deciding on “concrete and tangible steps” in the wake of the Pakistani onslaught.

Baloch activist advocate Mohammad Anwar said that Sharif should have talked about Balochistan instead of Kashmir, “where houses are being looted and razed, the people are being kidnapped and murdered”, reports ANI. About 40 people participated in the demonstration held behind steel barricades in the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza.
