Now, Politico is reporting that Ted Cruz is “expected” to finally endorse Donald Trump.

Which is a freakish thing for Trump to do unless he knows that Cruz is about to endorse him.
The decision to announce his intention to vote for Trump, rather than endorse him outright, was seen as a compromise – even if voters see little distinction between the two.
