The former stars of the worldwide TV hit “Top Gear”, including the contentious Jeremy Clarkson, are hitting the gas on their new Amazon series in November.
The Grand Tour is set to debut on Amazon Prime on November 18th, airing every Friday.
The first episode, as the official press release states, will be an introduction to the wild new concept of the show being called the Grand Tour.
Amazon also released a teaser trailer to go along with the premiere date announcement- giving viewers a brief glimpse at what’s to come in the new season.
The trio moved from the BBC to Amazon after Clarkson was sacked for punching a Top Gear producer previous year.
The Amazon Prime show will be broadcast from a different location around the world each week with the first episode kicking off in California.
Unfortunately, you must be an Amazon Prime Video subscriber or an Amazon Prime member to watch The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon boss Jeff Bezos said that the show was “very, very, very expensive” but claimed that the expenditure – put at £4 million dollars by some estimates – will be worth it.
Matt LeBlanc of “Friends” is the current host of “Top Gear“.
Chris Evans left his “dream job” on Top Gear hours after the final episode was broadcast last month.
