“That’s premeditated. Those are the the people who not only need to be in jail but underneath the jail, and we need to do the best we can to identify them”, Davis said.

Police said the attack was “planned” and involved three shooters, two with handguns and one with a long gun that seemed to be a shotgun. He added that the 3-year-old girl and her father were standing a slight distance away from the others and that the child was not an intended target. But the statement only said there were “multiple victims injured” and gave no immediate details of what happened.

Police said the victims – six men, a woman and a toddler – are expected to survive their injuries.

None of the injuries was life-threatening, Baltimore Police Department spokesman T.J. Smith said.

The shooting occurred last night just a block from where the city held a party earlier yesterday for a special event.
