LeBlanc, who has new series Man With a Plan coming out on CBS in October, was part of a split-screen moment with Clarke and was asked about whether he was a fan of Game of Thrones.
LeBlanc admitted to falling “out of touch” with the show, and then quickly added that he should catch up on the recent seasons because he heard Clarke was naked in them.
Well, that was awkward.
While she seemed to laugh off the quip, fans of the 29-year-old actress were less than impressed with Matt’s comment with some taking to Twitter to slam the actor as a “creep” and “disappointing”.
One said: “Matt LeBlanc talking about watching Emilia Clarke naked make me all sorts of uncomfortable…”
The Emmys proved a great opportunity last night to get some juicy information about the upcoming season seven from the Game of Thrones cast. – Clarke confirmed, “there’s another battle that’s epic”. (The record was previously held by Frasier, with 37 awards.) But it sounds like that wasn’t actually the highlight of Clarke’s evening.
Game of Thrones season 7 is now in production and is scheduled to premiere sometime next year.
In case you’d forgotten, Emilia was completely starstruck when she got to meet Matt on The Graham Norton Show three months ago, and took to Instagram to share a selfie of the pair of them.
