Meanwhile, a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) spokeswoman said: “The LAPD is not handling any reports or allegations into child abuse against Mr Brad Pitt”.

Any airborne incident would fall under the jurisdiction of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), not the police department.

Spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said the FBI is still evaluating whether to open an investigation into allegations Pitt was abusive during the flight toward one of his six children with actress Angelina Jolie Pitt, as several media outlets have reported.

Pitt is under investigation by United States authorities after being accused of physically and verbally abusing his children during an angry outburst, TMZ reported.

Children and Family Services has yet to issue a statement regarding the originally reported investigation.

Mumbai: Angelina Jolie has reportedly blocked Brad Pitt from visiting their kids, after she filed for divorce from him a few days back. Pitt was said to be “looking drunk” and “yelling” at Angie and the kids.

“The law does not allow us to confirm or deny the subjects of our investigations”, he said.

Following the abuse claims, a source close to Pitt attempted to defend Brad by saying that it was normal for teenagers to have fights with their parents.

A source close to Pitt told USA Today that the Fight Club star meant to cooperate fully with any investigation and that he believed the child abuse allegations were baseless. Both actors have, in separate statements, said their primary concern was their children and asked for privacy.

TMZ maintains the incident is what finally compelled Jolie to end the relationship, though no officials have publicly confirmed that claim.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt earlier this week, and rumors stated that Jolie was unhappy with how Pitt treated their children.

In court documents filed Monday, Jolie cited irreconcilable differences in ending their marriage of two years. After interviewing Jolie, 41, and Pitt, DCFS made a decision to let them go, the source says.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids”, he told People Magazine Tuesday.
