“But today I want to speak to people of Pakistan”.

India’s relationship with Pakistan has nosedived following the Uri terror attack amid an outcry for retaliation against the neighbour.

In a direct attack on terrorists, Modi said they should heed his words that India will not forget the sacrifice of the soldiers killed in the Uri attack.

“India has never bowed to terrorism, nor will it ever”.

The protest came after Congressman Ted Poe, Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Terrorism, along with Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, introduced a bill in the US House of Representatives to designate Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism.

He said that Pakistan wants a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue through dialogue and in accordance with the wishes of the people of Kashmir.

Modi said there were 17 attempts by fidayen attackers sent by the neighboring country which have been defeated by fearless Indian soldiers who have neutralized over 110 terrorists which is the highest in recent years. The terrorists have tried to strike 17 times recently, they were successful in one incident.

“If Pakistan has been left isolated and nobody gives ear to its alleged rhetoric propaganda may one ask these TV channels what forced them to telecast (Pakistan Prime Minister) Nawaz Sharif’s speech live from UN General Assembly in New York”, Rasheed said.

“The devotion, spirituality is not because of the land but because of people, saints and culture here”, Modi said, adding, “The people of Kerala are seen with respect in the country and the world”.

“In the context of what has happened even considering such a thought is not appropriate”, he told reporters when asked if there is any plan to play cricket with Pakistan.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized Pakistan on Saturday, accusing it of being an exporter of terrorism, and vowing to mount a global campaign to isolate it.

“India has and never will bow down in the face of terrorism”, Modi said.
