Allo, Google’s Intelligent Messaging App, is Set To Be Launched This Week
On the other hand, Allo’s Incognito Mode option is still end-to-end encrypted for users who would rather keep their private chats, private. Smart Reply will improve over time and adjust to the user’s style, said Google in a blog post. You can have conversations or mention the Assistant in your chats, to ask questions or pull information, without leaving the chat page.

Google Assistant can also help with news, weather or incoming flight status information. The incognito mode will also provide additional privacy features like discreet notifications and message expiration.
Having already launched its FaceTime-beating Duo video messaging app in August, Google has announced that its smart iMessage competitor, Allo, will be released worldwide within the next few days.
The WhisperShout feature, as the name suggests, lets users change the size of the text in order to express their emotions better. However, it’s the Google Assistant that makes the chat app different from other apps like Whatsapp, Wechat, or Telegram. The text messaging app is supposed to be complimentary of Google Duo and is an attempt by Google to take on existing messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Snapchat, Skype, and FaceTime.
“Over time your Google Assistant will be able to work seamlessly throughout your day – at home, in your vehicle, and on the go – and will be available in more products coming later this year, like Google Home”.

To make the user experience even more special, Google has loaded custom sticker packs, emojis and photos to the app, so users can choose from the generous selections and even modify them to a certain extent before sending to the receiver. Allo even recognizes “whether you’re a “haha” or ” kind of person”, Google claims. If the leak turns out to be true, users on both Android and iOS should be able to download the app within the week. That includes photos, so if a friend sends a photo of a dog, Smart Reply might suggest a heart emoji or “Super cute!” message, leaving you to respond with a tap.
