Not only this, but the multimedia company is also preparing to come up with sunglasses which also have a camera, named Spectacles, according to a report by Wall Street Journal.

News of a Snapchat gadget made the rounds earlier tonight when an ad for Snapchat Spectacles appeared on YouTube.
Spectacles will retail for $129.99, and will have “limited distribution”, at least at first.
The glasses record up to 10 seconds of circular video through a 115-degree-angle lens, which is created to look closer to how the human eye sees. The formats video plays full screen on any devices with a 115 degree field of view that some reviewers have compared to video from a GoPro camera.
Spectacles will come in a one-size-fits-all and will be available in three colours black, teal and coral and be available this fall. Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive of Facebook, which owns Instagram, said recently: “We see a world that is video first, with video at the heart of all of our apps and service”. It also shoots circular video instead of the square footage we’re accustomed to seeing – Snap’s Evan Spiegel tells the Journal the circular look will feel more like human vision. Unlike the failed experiment of Google Glass (and its pricey cost), Spectacles may be something you start seeing your friends and even yourself buy and use. You record new clips every time you tap the button, and video syncs wirelessly to your smartphone for easy sharing.
Hi-tech sunglasses with a built-in video camera are being launched by photo messaging app Snapchat. As a testament to that, Snap introduced a feature that lets you register to vote with a few swipes.
The idea, the company says, is to expand how users interact with Snapchat. We were walking through the woods, stepping over logs, looking up at the handsome trees.

We can’t wait to see how this one turns out, but for one, Miranda Kerr seemed pretty excited about it considering her beau Evan Spiegel runs the show over at Snapchat!
