More than 30 dead cats had been discovered hanging from tree in plastic bags, few days ago in a derelict area near a train station in Yonkers.

According to the report, the public workers discovered this disturbing scene when they went there for cleaning the area.
Later some officials explained that the cats were kept in plastic bags before hanging them from tree. Some of the bags had been ripped open by wild animals and the remains had fallen out.
Many dead cats were severely decomposed but they managed to get some dead cats that were still fresh.
The collected dead cats were sent for necropsy.
Police has been investigating the case since then.
