Cetin was apprehended in Oak Harbor, Washington, about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

NBC News reported Washington State Patrol as saying there was no indication of terrorism in the shooting in Burlington. Five people were slain. But that connection appears to be why Cetin chose that location.
“Probably one of the most hard moments last night was knowing that we had family of the victims out there wondering about their loved ones”, said Cammock, who commands the SMART Team.
Cetin did not run, Hawley said, and he was not armed at the time of his arrest. “He was kind of zombie-like”.
BURLINGTON, Wash. (AP) – The first 911 call came in just before 7 p.m. on a busy Friday night at the Cascade Mall: A man with a rifle was shooting at people in the Macy’s Department Store.
Police have identified the suspect as Arcan Cetin, 20, of Oak Harbor.
“Gunman captured tonight by authorities”, Washington State Patrol spokesman Sergeant Mark Francis said on Twitter.
Authorities announced earlier that the suspect had been apprehended Saturday evening.
“I don’t know what his motivation was to do this”, Chris Cammock, police chief in the larger nearby town of Mount Vernon, told a news conference.
Burlington is about 105km north of Seattle.

In the coming days, authorities said they planned to flesh out the timeline of Cetin’s alleged actions. Before the suspect’s arrest, an official with the Federal Bureau of Investigation had told reporters there was “no evidence at this time” of a link to terrorism.

Police searched Saturday for a shooter who killed five people at a shopping mall in the USA state of Washington in the latest chapter of America’s epidemic of gun violence.
The authorities believe there was only one gunman. He allegedly fled the mall afterward, sending more than 24 law enforcement agencies on a manhunt across the state.
Witnesses told KOMO News that a shooter walked into the Macy’s store and opened fire.
He said everyone was terrified. A search at the mall and surrounding area included bomb-sniffing dogs and a helicopter.
He said he went home Friday and made sure his doors were locked because the gunman remained on the loose.
Michelle Fuller said her niece was in the mall and heard the shots, and then led people to a nearby bathroom to hide.
The police requested everyone to evacuate the mall after the shooting.
She said she heard screaming as they were escorted out into the parking lot.
“I have not had a chance to get any of the information yet”, she said.
Police confirmed four women were killed inside the mall.
The authorities believe there was only one gunman, but it was unclear whether he had help. She said “it’s nerve-wracking” and she’s nervous about taking her 7-year-old daughter to her soccer game. They say 10 minutes later video picked him up with the rifle at the Macy’s doing the shooting. He described it as a “hunting type” rifle.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, Cammock said. Some people were still possibly holed up in the mall, which was declared clear several hours later. The identity of the man who was fatally shot was also withheld.
Cammock said earlier Saturday the female victims’ ages ranged from teens to seniors. No identifications have been released. The FBI was assisting local authorities, but said there was no evidence pointing to terrorism. The fifth victim, a man, died in hospital.
Emergency management officials started to allow some people to retrieve their vehicles Saturday, though the mall was shuttered through Monday morning.
Authorities are searching for a man wearing grey who was last seen walking toward Interstate 5.
Burlington is about 65 miles north of Seattle. This includes the preparation of derivative works of, or the incorporation of such content into other works.
