13 Consecutive September games have been won by Texas A&M, the longest active streak in the SEC for the ninth month. He completed 28 of 42 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns.

The way that Texas A&M won this game shows that it has what it takes to win the SEC this season.

The Aggies’ goal-line stand was a game changer and gave A&M the ball and the momentum. He now averages 9.7 yards per carry on the season. A&M’s offense scored 45 points despite having the ball just over 20 minutes; Arkansas had the ball nearly 40 minutes and scored only 24 points.

The Hogs didn’t run almost as effectively after Williams’ long run, finishing with 120 for the game. Even though the Aggie D had trouble getting off the field, it came up with big plays in the red zone. The ball wasn’t catchable at the point Coley chose to make contact with Aggies WR Speedy Noil but that didn’t stop him from lowering the boom on Noil.

Arkansas got within their own 10 yard line five times in the game.

The Razorbacks controlled the ball for 39:45 while the Aggie offense was only on the field for 20:15.

Redshirt freshman center Erik McCoy had some high snaps, one of which might have contributed to a fumble on an exchange between Knight and Trayveon Williams inside the Arkansas 5-yard line.

What went wrong: A&M junior cornerback Nick Harvey had a devil of a time staying with Keon Hatcher, who had three catches for 77 yards and caused Harvey to commit multiple penalties.

Bottom line: The Wrecking Crew returned Saturday night as the defense demoralized Arkansas. He’s by far their best player and the Aggies will have to hope that the ankle issue doesn’t linger in the coming weeks, since he was limping around significantly in the second half.

Arkansas ran 19 plays inside the redzone and only managed to score 17 points.

While the Razorbacks are focused on ending their recent woes against their former Southwest Conference rival, both schools hope to turn into SEC party crashers this weekend. He also lost a fumble going in for an apparent score in the second quarter. Neither started in the Top 25, but the Razorbacks have jumped to No. 17 in the polls after a win over TCU and Texas A&M jumped to No. 10. But the Razorbacks were so focused on containing the passing game that they disregarded the rushing attack. They’ll definitely want to fix the scoring offense before then.
