Colts fans can find hope in the fact things can change dramatically over the course of a 16-game National Football League season. After one, Luck said about the only thing he could say to Miller: “good sack”.

None of the last five opponents have topped 20 points, and overall since the start of 2015, only six of the last 21 Orange & Blue foes have scored 21 or more points.
After the game, it was one of the plays Pagano said the Colts would like to have had back and one Luck was still lamenting Monday. In that situation, a punt isn’t the worst potential outcome.
The defense couldn’t stop the Detroit Lions from driving down the field and kicking the game-winning field goal in the final 37 seconds of the Week 1 loss.
But the Denver offense, gaining some traction late under quarterback Trevor Siemian, drove inside the red zone, leading to a 35-yard field goal by Brandon McManus, his fourth of the day. He completed 22 of 33 passes for 266 yards.

Looking at the next 4 games for the Colts, it does not get much easier. And if that’s the case, it all starts with the defense, which manages to make play after play when the Broncos need it the most. The defense was giving the Broncos all the momentum they could and the offense did their best to give it back to the Colts.
