Baltimore Police: 3 gunmen shoot, wound 8 in attack

A 3-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy were among 10 people shot in Baltimore Saturday night in two separate incidents of what police said appeared to be retaliatory violence. Police said all the eight victims were expected to recover from their injuries.

He said another person was wounded in that shooting, which occurred about 6:30 p.m. on South Smallwood Street. While all three suspects are still at large, the police said a three-year-old girl, who was not an intended target, was among the wounded.

According to WBAL, police said three people, one armed with a shotgun and the other two with handguns, are responsible for the shooting.

Also on the same day, an 8-year-old girl was shot in a shooting where a dozen shots were fired.

He said other victims were a woman and the rest were meb. He did not immediately explain how investigators believed the shootings were linked.
