“Virginia voters can find everything they need to know about the upcoming election at vote.virginia.gov”, said Edgardo Cortés, the Commissioner of Elections.
Pennsylvania’s strict photo ID law for all voters is no longer in effect. Voting may be done in person at designated sites, such as the historic Crow Wing County Courthouse in Brainerd, or by mail as voters request an absentee ballot and vote using a witness and then mail the completed and signed ballots back.
“Our expectation with our absentee turnout numbers should be somewhere around 100,000 votes”, said Fairfax County Registrar Cameron Sasnett. A federal appeals court over the summer struck down several parts of a North Carolina law that not only required voters to show photo ID but also reduced early voting and eliminated same-day registration during the early voting period.
RICHMOND, VA – Absentee voting for the November 8, 2016 Presidential Election starts statewide tomorrow, Friday, September 23rd.

If you want to be one of the people who does something about this election, and you are not registered yet, you have until October 11 to do it.
If a voter chooses to vote a straight party ticket, that voting mark will cast a vote for all candidates in that party, except for the at-large County Council race.
Shortly after the move, he went to the local motor vehicle office to update his address and voter registration information. Some can mail in a ballot, while others must stand in line at a polling place that might be miles from home.
Tracking: Voters can track whether their mail ballot was received and accepted by their local elections office.
