Clinton spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri said Clinton, a Democrat, has agreed to the request, in terms of further taxing city resources, but intends to honor the invitation of the community’s faith leaders to visit and will postpone her arrival from Sunday to next Sunday, Oct. 2. Please be fully informed regarding the risks and costs associated with trading the financial markets, it is one of the riskiest investment forms possible.
She will plan to visit Charlotte next Sunday, provided circumstances allow.
Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts said in an interview with CNN that Clinton and Trump should delay their trips to the city since the city’s security resources are stretched thin after nights of protests.
In Charlotte, police fatally shot Keith Lamont Scott, 43, while looking for a suspect with an outstanding warrant.
Two officials from Donald Trump’s campaign told CNN late Friday that they were no longer planning to visit Charlotte next week after the first presidential debate.
The fatal shooting of Keith Lamont Scott on Tuesday has sparked protests in Charlotte and is the latest incident to fuel a national discussion about lethal police force, particularly against African-Americans.
Clinton also said police video of the fatal shooting should be released immediately.
Clinton says on Twitter that authorities should release the video of the shooting of the black man by Charlotte police. “We must ensure justice & work to bridge divides”, Mrs. Clinton tweeted Friday.
Campaign spokesman Nick Merrill told reporters Friday more details will be forthcoming about Clinton’s trip. But police can be heard shouting for him to drop a weapon, in a cellphone video taken by Scott’s wife and made public Friday.

Witnesses said Scott did not have a gun.
