First secretary to the Indian permanent mission to the UN Eenam Gambhir referred to Sharif’s speech as a “long tirade”. Premier Li Keqiang accepted invitation from Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to visit Pakistan soon. Pak PM Sharif at UNGA in complete denial of Uri terror attack. But Sharif and Pakistan’s top military leaders have rubbished the claim.

Causing another major embarrassment for Pakistan, the US Secretary of State John Kerry has asked the alleged sponsors of the Uri terror attack to take action against the perpetrators and snubbed its rant for Kashmir, giving India the much needed support for isolating Pakistan internationally. “The land of Taxila, one of the greatest learning centres of ancient times”, the Indian response continued, “is now host to the Ivy League of terrorism”. “The effect of its toxic curriculum are felt across the globe”. “Talks are no favour to Pakistan, they are in the interest of both countries”. Akbar, addressing a press conference moments after Nawaz’s speech at India’s permanent mission, remarked it was very unusual that Pakistan had termed the “terrorist” a “hero”.

“Talks and guns don’t go together. Over a hundred Kashmiris have been killed, hundreds, including children and infants, blinded by shotgun pellets and over six thousand unarmed civilians injured over the past two months”, he said.

“Similar false promises it has made to us – the global community – on terrorism”.

“. Such bids can not be continuously mounted without the active and collaborative support of Pakistani security forces”, said Swarup.

“Akbar emphasised that Islamabad’s consistent use of war and “terrorism” was at the cost of development of the people of Pakistan, adding that the people there were paying the price of a malevolent policy”. By doing so, said Akbar, Sharif had exposed Pakistan as a supporter of terrorists and terrorism.
