The Spaniard made the assertion after scoring an extra-time brace to help the Blues knock English Premier League (EPL) Champions, Leicester City out of the League Cup on Tuesday night.

Fabregas was excellent during Jose Mourinho’s English Premier League title-winning season at Chelsea in 2014-15 but he struggled, like many of Chelsea’s players, last season, and there have been doubts as to how he fits into Conte’s team.
But the former Arsenal man remained at Stamford Bridge and has claimed a move overseas was never on the cards for the 29-year-old.
“If I’m a director and I don’t see good work but the team still win, the future is not good”.
Cesc Fabregas claims he is training with the enthusiasm of his teenage self in a bid to win over Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. When we play this type of game, against a team who are very good like Arsenal, you must concentrate from the first minute.
I think that for Cesc, it is a special game for him. I know that we can improve a lot”. “I work a lot to find the right solution”.
‘He played a good game in the EFL Cup.
“But of course I do not watch him or Fabregas in training and without seeing either player every day it is hard to demand that he has to play – that is for Conte to decide”. I want to see this in all my players’.
The captain and central defender’s absence due to an ankle injury proved significant last Friday against Liverpool when Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the season.
“It’s normal (that Terry wants to play)”.
Conte added: “This is a typical English game because after 30 minutes you are 2-0 down and then you have a good reaction to score four goals”.

Arsenal are starting to build some momentum and come into the game in better shape than Chelsea, but it will nevertheless be a significant test of their mettle.
